Dorothy Mae (Cooksey) Robinson, 90, Fillmore, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018, at Cumberland Trace in Plainfield.

Dorothy was born in Solsberry on Oct. 27, 1928, the daughter of Fred and Daisy (Thompson) Cooksey.

Mrs. Robinson worked in production at P.R. Mallory. She was a hairdresser and an Avon salesperson. Above all, she was also a homemaker, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her children, Michael Robinson (Belinda), Mt. Meridian, Dedra Frye (Denny), Clayton, Timothy Robinson (Becky), Fillmore, Karen Robinson Avon, Marilyn Hendrickson (Daniel Heavin), Fillmore, and Kevin Robinson, Greencastle; 19 grandchildren, Lonnie, Larry, Lynnette, Lyndon, Shannon, Ryan, Renee, Charlie, Lori, Lisa, Shondra, Sharisse, Shadd, Shovonna, Leann, Lindsay, Lynette, Mandie and Amber; 35 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Martha Robinson, Coatesville; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 45 years, Ralph W. Robinson; two daughters, Sharon Robinson and Shirley Gearlds; two sisters, Eva Cooksey, and Edith Abbitt; a brother, Elmer Cooksey; a grandson, Bill Gardner; a great-grandson Michael Williams; and two sons-in-law, Ralph Lopossa and Donnie Hendrickson.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Pastor Everett Bernard officiating. Burial will follow in Solsberry Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to time of service on Friday.
