Thinking Neumann was letting her go across, Slack proceeded into the intersection without noticing a northbound 2014 Ford Edge, driven by Sandra Masten, 58, Greencastle. As a result, the Slack and Masten vehicles collided, causing the Slack car to spin around and strike the Neumann vehicle.
