Floral sale to support upcoming Habitat for Humanity build

Wondering what to get your mother, partner or special friend for Mother’s Day? Look no further, Putnam County Habitat for Humanity is selling hanging floral baskets this spring.

All proceeds will support the upcoming build for the Hubbard/Hoagland family, the recently selected “partner family.”

A wide array of flowers are available, ranging from petunias to geraniums. Hanging baskets are $20 each and will be available for pickup on Saturday, May 11 at 10 a.m. in the parking lot at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 218 Bloomington St., Greencastle.

Last day to purchase flowers is April 7, however, additional flowers will be available on May 11 for $25.

Persons can place their order online on the Putnam County Habitat for Humanity Facebook page or by phone at 653-5360.

Additionally, flowers may be purchased from board members Samantha Cooper, Scott Dunbar, Liz Kienzynski, Neysa Meyer, Chris Skillern, Dorothy Wells and Kevin Wood.
