Book for sale on Jack Boswell, the ‘cross-handed piano player’
Many residents in central Indiana will remember the career and unique musical talents associated with Jack Boswell, the “cross-handed piano player.”
Throughout the 1960s, ‘70s and ‘80s, he played in may of the Indianapolis area’s finest nightclubs with his band, The Country Starliters.
Boswell’s country music career afforded him the opportunity to have played with 19 artists who have been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville.
In 1985, he and his band refocused their musical talents toward the own brand of country gospel music, going on to play in hundreds of churches throughout central Indiana as the Jack Boswell Country Gospel Band.
Now, through the efforts of his brother Larry Boswell, readers can learn more and dig deeper into the musical life and career that Jack so enjoyed, through the book “Jack Boswell: From a Cabin to a Stage.”
The book includes memories and anecdotes shared by family members, former band members and friends who pay tribute to his vast musical talent, his country music career and his 27-year gospel music ministry.
