Putnam Scanner for April 12, 2019

One person was booked in the Putnam County Jail on Tuesday.

• At 10:31 a.m. Lynn Anthony Shoemake, 48, Fishers, was lodged at the jail on a local warrant.

City Police

One recent arrest was reported by Greencastle City Police officers.

• At 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, Jodi Marie Dixon, 39, Roachdale, was arrested by Capt. Charles Inman.

Taken into custody on South College Avenue, Dixon was lodged in the Putnam County Jail for violation of probation.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to two recent dispatches:

• At 4:38 p.m. on Tuesday, GFD was dispatched to 327 S. Bloomington St. for a smoke investigation. Units arrived at 4:43 but could not find a source for the smoke. GFD went back into service at 4:47 p.m.

• At 8:04 p.m. on Wednesday, GFD responded to a motor vehicle accident reportedly involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Shadowlawn Avenue and North Jackson Street. Units arrived at the scene at 8:05 and assisted the patient, who had no serious injuries. GFD went back into service at 8:28 p.m.

Additionally, GFD performed five medical assists and had one disregard during this time.
