I-70 right lane closed in both directions for repairs in Hendricks County

Friday, May 24, 2019

PLAINFIELD -- The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that the right lane of Interstate 70 in each direction is closed between the 66- and 68-mile marker due to pavement settlement in the work zone.

INDOT is working with the contractor to mobilize repairs.

The contract, which began in early May, was awarded to Milestone Contractors for $5.3 million.

The I-70 project includes full-depth concrete patching from State Road 39 to State Road 267 and resurfacing of the interstate from State Road 267 to the Ronald Reagan Parkway (Exit 68).

The project is scheduled to be completed Sept. 30 of this year.
