Open house to kick off Playhouse season

The 58th season of Putnam County Playhouse will begin with an open house on Sunday, June 2.

The event is scheduled from 2-4 p.m. at the Hazel Day Longden Theatre off Round Barn Road in Greencastle.

At that time individual tickets for all shows in the season will be on sale. Season tickets can also be purchased that day.

A rehearsal for musical numbers from the June musical “She Loves Me” will be taking place during the open house.

The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Board members will be on hand to answer questions about PCPH.

The season – with the theme Love Conquers All – also includes the comedy “Send Me No Flowers” in July, the musical “Shrek!” in August, and will close with the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama “Picnic” in September.
