Tools for School still seeks sponsors

The 2019 Tools for School project is under way and has about two weeks before more than 500 Putnam County Children will receive backpacks filled with all the supplies they need to begin the school year, along with a new pair of tennis shoes.

The project is based or children that receive free lunch in Putnam County and apply for assistance in the spring.

There are still backpacks available that need sponsors. Organizers are looking for individuals or organizations to sponsor a child or children.
