Reva Mae Bundy

Reva Mae (Evens) Bundy, 91, passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2019 at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester.

Reva was born in Clinton Falls on Jan. 26, 1928 to the late Earl E. And Mabel (Martin) Evens. 

She graduated from Greencastle High School in 1946 and would later marry Earl Bundy on Sept. 4, 1955.

She held various jobs throughout the years, but focused on raising her children. Later in life she helped care for many of her great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Reva loved traveling, reading, country music and watching westerns. Most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.  

She was a longtime member of the Greencastle Moose Lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary.

For the past two years, Reva has lived with her youngest son Steven and his wife Cathy in Akron.

She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Bundy, daughter Joyce Border, five brothers, two sisters, one grandchild and three great-great-grandchildren.

Survivors include sons Steven (Cathy) Heller and Jimmie (Nancie) Heller, stepdaughters Teresa Ogle and Sherry (Mark) Merley, 15 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren

She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A graveside service will be held for Reva at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019 at Clinton Falls Cemetery in Greencastle. The family will accept visitors from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
