Steven Douglas Scott

I’d like to tell you a story about a man who spent most of his life making people laugh.

Steven Douglas Scott has walked off the great stage of life for the last time.

On Friday, Aug. 30, with his family by his side, he walked up the stairway to Heaven to the open arms of his mother and father, sisters and brothers and many more who preceded him in death.

He was the son of George A. Scott and Marguerite Ann (Black) Scott.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Scott; children Jason Boswell, Amanda Dunscombe, Matthew Scott, George (Boo) Scott, Birttany Scott, Jimmy Scott, Jennifer Whigham and Phillip Whigham; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters Barbara Ann Bevan, Mary Pierce and Charlotte Russell; and many nieces and nephews.
