William H. Hatfield

William H. Hatfield, 77, passed away Oct. 12, 2019 in Hartford, Ky.

He was born Sept. 23, 1942, in Greencastle, son of the late Harry and Helen Wimmer Hatfield.

William was a self-employed mechanical engineer and was the Salt Flats World Record Holder with the Volkswagen Beetle.

He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis Joan Stout Hatfield.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Kyle Hatfield and Andrew Wyeth Hatfield, daughter Melissa Dawn Deal and 10 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held in Greencastle at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Bevil Bros. Funeral Homes, Inc in Beaver Dam, Ky.
