Sarah Ellen Hubble

Sarah Ellen Hubble, 74, of Greencastle passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday evening, Nov. 16, 2019 at Putnam County Hospital.

Sarah was born in Greencastle on Jan. 18, 1945, the daughter of Cyril and Sarah (Braden) Frazier

She was a graduate of Greencastle High School.

Mrs. Hubble was employed with P.R. Mallory’s for more than 35 years.

Survivors include her son, Kevin Hubble of Greencastle; her daughter, Catherine Lesko (husband Steve) of Reelsville; two sisters, Lois McNeff (husband Ronnie) of Phoenix and Roberta Hinkle of Greencastle; four grandchildren, Morgan Hubble, Ellen Lesko, Alexandria Lesko and Wesley Lesko; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Donald R. “Don” Hubble; and two sisters, Frances Sutherlin and Alberta Phillips.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home with Pastor Donnie Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service on Friday.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to breast cancer research.
