Charlene M. Krominaker

Charlene M. Krominaker, 85, of Greencastle, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019.

She was born on Dec. 25, 1933 to Charles A. and Geraldine (Clodfelter) Marsteller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carla Krominaker, and brother, Charles E. Marsteller.

Charlene married Charles L. Krominaker II on July 14, 1959.

Charlene worked for newspapers in Crawfordsville and Fort Wayne, spanning a career of 40 years, only retiring so she could move to Greencastle to watch her grandchildren. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years; son Curtis Krominaker and wife Lori; sisters Doris (Phil) Carrington and Ruth Ann (John) Fulwider; sister-in-law Linda Marsteller; four grandchildren, Dalton Krominaker, Alex Krominaker, Ethan Woods and Brady Woods; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service and burial will be held at Hebron Cemetery in Russellville at a later date.
