Annetta Joyce Shonkwiler

Annetta Joyce Shonkwiler, 64, of Greencastle, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2020, surrounded by her family.

Born April 3, 1955 in Greencastle, she was the daughter of Sherman Clyde and Carol Jean (Carrington) Lowe.

She was a 1973 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Annetta worked 17 years at the McDonald’s Restaurant in Greencastle.

She is survived by her husband, Troy N. Shonkwiler; son, Troy Shonkwiler Jr.; daughter, Heather Shonkwiler and husband, Francesco Roncara; her mother, Carol Lowe; sisters, Doris York and Kathy (Wade) McClure; and a brother, Sonny (Jenny) Lowe.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Interment will follow at Little Walnut Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Annetta to the Humane Society of Putnam County or the American Cancer Society.
