County Jail

Four people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Tuesday

• At 10 p.m. Ethan C. Ames, 30, Fillmore, was lodged at the jail for invasion of privacy.

• At 1:22 p.m. Gregory G. Tatarek, 51, Bargersville, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated with a prior conviction.

• At 12 p.m. Cody A. Ison-Ladigo, 23, Martinsville, was housed at the jail for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

• At 11:58 a.m. Christopher L. St. Clair, 34, Danville, was booked in for auto theft.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department responded to four recent dispatches:

• At 4:13 p.m. on Monday, GFD was dispatched to ResCare Homecare for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 4:16 and were advised that the facility’s fire alarm was being tested. GFD went left at 4:24 p.m.

• At 3:12 p.m. on Tuesday, GFD responded to a vehicle fire located at Hickory Creek at Sunset. Firefighters arrived at 3:16 and found a vehicle with the passenger compartment engulfed. The fire was considered under control at 3:21. GFD went back into service at 3:35 p.m.

• At 10:43 p.m. on Tuesday, GFD was dispatched to 951 Deer Field Ct. for a carbon monoxide alarm. Units arrived at 10:49 and shut off the gas to the stove and ventilated the residence. GFD went back into service at 12:08 a.m. Wednesday morning.

• At 10:11 a.m. on Thursday, GFD was dispatched to Phi Delta Theta for a fire alarm. Firefighters arrived at 10:14 and were advised by an alarm company that it was working on the alarm system. GFD left at 10:16 a.m.

Additionally, GFD performed five medical assists and had two disregards during this time.
