Local Flavor

Monday, June 1, 2020
A bright morning provided an opportunity for community members to buy and sell local crafts and goods during the first Greencastle Farmers Market Saturday. Jim Paver of Reelsville shows a suet feeder he created to one visitor.

Meanwhile, three-year-old Jed Smith of Greencastle stands with grandma Jennifer Smith while selling some homemade pies. The market will be held each Saturday on the courthouse square from 8 a.m. to noon, and will run until Oct. 3.

    I wish them luck, Mamawjane.

Its good to see an entrepreneurial spirit taking flight.

    And cinnamon rolls?!

I might have to go next time... I do love me some cinnamon rolls. (I still remember Mrs. Jackson's cinnamon rolls at the Double... big and delicious! Yummy.)
