Ferguson - 60th anniversary

Joe and Rita (Pence) Ferguson of Greencastle will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 6. The couple were high school sweethearts and were married in Frankfort at First Baptist Church.

Joe was employed by Old National Bank (First Citizens Bank) for 38 years. He also was employed by Wabash Capital Investment Co. and retired in 2001. Rita was employed by Dr. William Frisbie for 30 years.

They are very proud of their family which includes two sons, Mark (Lisa) of Hartford City and Mike (Margie) of Collierville, Tenn. They also have five grandchildren, Jessica, Karleigh, Jacob, Audrey and Andrew; and four great-grandchildren, Abrahm, Benjamin, Wren and Brett (deceased). Another great-granddaughter is due in September.

They are members of Greencastle Presbyterian Church.
