Mark Skinner

Mark Skinner, 67, of Owen County, passed away on Aug. 4, 2020.

He was born Aug. 28, 1952 in Indianapolis, the son of LaVon and Wallace Skinner.

He was a graduate of Ben Davis High School and went on to school for HVAC repair and maintenance.

Mark was married to Connie (Rohland) Skinner in April 1992.

He had been employed at ITW in Indianapolis, before going on to work at Adam’s Mark Hotel. After he and Connie moved to Owen County, we went to work at Heartland Automotive as an HVAC electrical maintenance technician, retiring after 14-1/2 years.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Connie; his father Wallace; three sisters, Annette Kennedy, Kathy Lombardo and Deborah McFall, all of Indianapolis; one brother, Dale Skinner of Indianapolis; three children, Trina Findley of Colorado Springs, Colo., Rusty Robert Skinner of Paragon and Martin Mills of Paragon; three stepchildren, Christina Graham of Owen County, Stephanie Lagler of Mooresville and Abigail Williams of Paragon; and several grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Cremation was chosen.

A memorial service for Mark is being planned.
