Theron Craig York “Yonks”

Theron Craig York “Yonks”, 70, of Greencastle, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020.

Born Feb. 28, 1950 in Greencastle, he was the son of Theron Robert and Neva Belle (DeFries) York.

He was a 1969 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Craig worked as an injection mold technician at Heartland Industries for several years and had previously worked at Union Carbide.

He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Moose Lodge, Greencastle.

Craig is survived by his brother, Timothy Ray (Cynthia) York, companion Kathryn Potter, nieces, nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Brick Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9 at the funeral home.
