Mildred Booker

Mildred Lucille Booker, 91, Roachdale, passed away on Oct. 13, 2020.

She was born Oct. 30, 1928 to the late Homer and Ritta (Meltabarger) Martin.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Raymond Booker; a daughter, Sandra Bachert; grandson Michael Bachert; and four sisters, Louise Robbins, Lois Vaughn, Naomi Nelson and Ruby Martin.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Pamela (Ron) Saunders; granddaughter Danielle Dickson; grandson David Bachert; great-granddaughters Kira and Kasandra King; brother Spencer Martin; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather Monday, Oct. 19 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at the Porter & St. Pierre Funeral Home, North Salem. Mildred will be laid to rest in Roachdale Cemetery.

I want to give a special thank you to her niece, Fay Kinkead, who stayed with her, gave her loving care and made it possible for her to remain in her own home.

Following state and federal mandates, face coverings will be required for those in attendance.
