Those needing health insurance may currently enroll inor change their 2021 Marketplace health insurance.

Health insurance coverage can help lessen the stress of health care costs. Eligibility will depend on whether the participant:

1. Does not currently have coverage or will be losing coverage,

2. Has an employer who does not offer health insurance coverage and

3. Makes more than 138 percent of the Federal Poverty Level (around $17,832 for a single-person household).

Plans on the Marketplace offer important benefits including outpatient care, emergency services, inpatient care, prenatal care, mental health and substance use disorder services, prescription drugs, lab tests, and pediatric services.

These plans also provide preventive care, which helps participants maintain their health and avoid expensive medical costs in the future.

Some participants will also be eligible for premium tax credits that help with monthly premiums.
