Greencastle hosting Purple and Gray Game, Scrimmages Friday

Greencastle High School will be hosting its Purple and Gray Game, along with Elementary and Middle School scrimmages this Friday, Nov. 13. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Admission to the game is free. They are asking attendees for donations of cases of water and/or nonperishable snacks (granola bars, crackers, etc.) as they enter McAnally, but is not required. There will be tables set up in the lower lobby of McAnally to place the water and snacks on when you enter. The water and snacks will be used by GHS teams on their away outings.

Cash donations will be accepted at the door. Donations will support the Greencastle Boys Basketball Club and the High School Basketball Cheerleaders.

Spectators will be required to be in a mask and encouraged to socially distance and sit in groups/pods of families while at the game. All Putnam County approved COVID Guidelines will be followed.

6-6:15 p.m. 2nd Grade Indy Hoops vs 3rd Grade Indy Hoops

6:20-6:35 p.m. 4th Grade Indy Hoops vs 5th Grade Indy Hoops

6:40-6:55 p.m. 6th Grade Indy Hoops vs 7th Grade Team

7-7:15 p.m. 7th Grade Team vs 8th Grade Team

7:25-8:30 p.m. High School teams will take the floor

The buffer time in between each set of “games” will be used to allow teams to clear the floor before the other teams take the floor.
