The Putnam County Community Foundation has announced that more than $300,000 will be available in scholarship funding for the 2021-22 academic year.

Once again, the Community Foundation’s application process is completely electronic. Students can access the online application by visiting the Community Foundation’s website, www.pcfoundation.org.

The Putnam County Community Foundation administers more than 45 scholarships. There are scholarships for colleges, universities and trade schools. The Foundation’s website provides a comprehensive list of all available scholarships and the eligibility criteria for each.

“Students may apply for multiple scholarship opportunities in one place. The entire application process, including requesting and submitting letters of recommendation and high school transcripts, is electronic. Students may complete portions of the applications, save and return to finish the application later,” Community Development Director Dean Gambill said.

Students are encouraged to visit their high school guidance office for help and advice. To be considered for scholarships using the Community Foundation’s application, students must apply by 5 p.m. on Jan. 18, 2021.

The Putnam County Community Foundation (PCCF) is a nonprofit public charity established in 1985 to work alongside individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations to build a stronger Putnam County.
