Winter Wonderland

Monday, December 7, 2020
Robe-Ann Park became aglow with a colorful array of holiday spirit Saturday evening as the first Winter Wonderland Lights Festival got under way. With support from the Putnam County Convention & Visitors Bureau and Greencastle Parks and Recreation, the Greencastle Civic League and local partners decked out the center area with at least 42,000 lights. The displays will remain lit through Jan. 7, and two holiday events will be held at the park. A 5K Jingle Run and visits with Santa will be this Saturday, while the Covered Bridge Harmony women’s chorus will perform on Dec. 19.

  • Drove through the park on Monday night. Very nice display. Hoping to see it expand next year. Would be nice to see who sponsored each display.

  • The lights in the park are beautiful! So nice to see the spirit of Christmas is alive and well in Greencastle! Kudos to all of the groups involved in making this happen!

Merry Christmas Greencastle and may the new year bring good health and prosperity to all! Let's remember the true meaning of Christmas as we celebrate the greatest birthday of all!
