Santa Sighting

Courtesy photos It’s a long hike from the North Pole to the Putnam Nature Trail, but a jolly old elf appears to have made the trek this weekend. Newly-elected People Pathways Committee President Allison Leer made the sighting and gave her report:

It’s rainy and cold, there’s even some fog,
but I felt cooped up, and I needed a jog.
I started to run,
Then what to my wondering eyes did appear,
But Santa, with two funny looking reindeer.
On the trail who would expect such a sight?
They were running, getting fit
For their very big night.
He sat down on a bench all comfy and nice.
He rolled out a list, and yes checked it twice.
Then he stood and he waved us goodbye.
“Who knows what you’ll see on the Pathways,”
I said with a sigh.

  • Should be called THE GREENBELT

    Instead of people pathways.

Greenbelt trails all over communities in TX allows

kids to get around everywhere by bike and walking.

    Best asset ever.
