The Putnam County Farm Bureau will be having two Legislative Update sessions via Zoom this year.

Sessions are scheduled for Saturdays, Feb. 20 and March 20 at 8 a.m.

With the help of Greencastle Mayor Bill Dory, Putnam County Farm Bureau President Steve Cash will send out log in information for the Zoom meetings.

Potential participants are urged to study legislation and keep discussion focused on bills that are active in the House or Senate, where Putnam County is represented by District 44 Rep. Beau Baird (R-Greencastle) and State Sens. John Crane (R-Avon) and Rodrick Bray (R-Martinsville).

So far, Cash reported that Sen. Bray, who also serves as president pro tempore of the State Senate, has confirmed to attend both sessions.

  • Thank you, Steve Cash and Mayor Dory for keeping us informed and safe. Our elected state officials have a long history of providing great information and listening to local concerns at these updates.
