Cloverdale FFA begins annual plant sale

CLOVERDALE — Don’t you love Indiana?

One of the best parts of Indiana is that you get to experience all four seasons.

One of the worst parts of Indiana is that you get all four seasons in one day.

Over the past week many times I have thought, “It’s time to start planting.” But then I wake up to frost on the ground and remember that it’s not really safe until May.

While things may not be ready to grow outside, they are blooming in the greenhouse. The Cloverdale FFA will be opening the Greenhouse on Monday, April 26 with the hours of 2-5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.

We have some beautiful flowers and great hanging baskets. Our greenhouse is magnificent this time of year.

Similar to last year, we will order the plants online via a Google Form and pick them up as a drive-through type service.

No public will be allowed in the Greenhouse, however we will put some assorted plants (succulents, cactus, perennials) outside for you to browse and purchase.

You can simply browse through the plants, decide what you would like and order them with this Google Form. The form also includes pictures of each plant.

All money will be collected upon pick up in the form of cash or check.

Once you have placed your order you can pick it up any day from April 26 forward that we are open. It will be held for you until you arrive. No worries.

All orders will be filled by first come/first served basis via the Google Form, so as we run out of items we will change the form to let you know.

On the form, you can select a time and date most convenient for you to pick them up and we will have them on a cart and bring them to your car just outside the greenhouse on the south side of Cloverdale High School.

You may stop by and honk at the Greenhouse during business hours if nobody comes quickly to greet you.
