Janice Fay Barnett

Janice Fay Barnett, 81, of Greencastle passed away Sunday, April 4, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Janice was born in Pennsylvania on September 19, 1939, the daughter of John and Florence3 (Cobbes) Kridler, and was a 1957 graduate of Greencastle High School.

Mrs. Barnett worked for many years as a Secretary with the accounting firm of Edward Wood and Company. She attended Brick Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Harold Barnet, a daughter, Caren Armstrong, Greencastle; a brother Jim Kridler (Virginia), Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; five grandchildren, Nathan Frame (Sara), Courtney McClure (Ryan), Jason Grimes, Daniel Clodfelter (Alexis Mills) and Chris Clodfelter (Leanna); nineteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Faye Grimes.

At her request there will be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place at a later date.
