Art Walk event slated at DePauw this weekend

Art Walk, a celebration of artists and creators in the DePauw University community, is scheduled this weekend.

Hosted and created by student members of the DePauw Contemporary Ensemble, it’s a three-day festival running from Friday, April 16 through Sunday, April 18. It will consist of a small number of socially distanced live performances all around campus, a number of live-streamed concerts, and more than 40 digital exhibits.

The campus will be dotted with yard signs which contain unique QR codes on each sign to view individual digital exhibits.

The inspiration behind the Art Walk was to create something that could be equally accessible to students on and off campus, so all of the art will be available online on an interactive map showing the locations of the QR code signs.
