A month after entering the NCAA transfer portal, Cooper Neese has decided to remain with the Indiana State University men's basketball program for the 2021-22 school year.

The Cloverdale graduate posted a message on Twitter Tuesday evening that after "much thought and consideration with my family and coach (Josh) Schertz, I have decided to return to Indiana State for my senior season of being a 'student athlete.' I have given my all to this community but I haven't gave everything quite yet.'"

Neese thanked coaches who had reached out to him during the past month who "made me feel wanted and appreciated once again in my career" later in the message.
