Edge 21 introduces board members to community
The Edge 21 program would like to introduce the community to its 10 board members that guide the organization to achieve the goals of empowering students and creating future leaders in their communities.
Vic Hunter is president and chairman of Edge 21.
He studied math and business at Purdue, applying skills learned there to Edge 21 and the 21st Century Scholars.
Linda Hunter is co-founder, providing years of experience as an educator and developer to help lead Edge 21.
She also has founded and supported several other nonprofits.
Beth Hamilton is executive director with experience working in social service.
She studied psychology at Ball State and is currently working on a masters in industrial and organizational psychology.
Amy Pennington is a board member and farmer in Putnam and Owen counties.
She currently serves on the Putnam County philanthropic and extension committees.
Le’Joy White is a board member and educational professional with 15 years of experience teaching in college and high school.
Currently a Ph.D. candidate at IUPUI, White is excited to contribute to Edge 21.
Cathy Clodfelter is a board member and former nurse with 50 years of serving underserved groups in healthcare.
She also serves as president of the board of Family Support Services.
Neal Knapp is a board member and dedicated academic researcher and community organizer.
He has been involved in many education initiatives in Putnam County and taught in the public school system.
Kevin Enders is a board member and director of Statewide Engagement at IYI, which specializes in providing critical data on education training in all 92 Indiana counties.
He is also pursuing a master’s in I/O psych.
Logan Pell is a board member and Purdue graduate of agricultural economics.
Pell is a recipient of the 21st Century Scholarship, which changed his life. He seeks to help others achieve the same goal.
Bob Jedele is a board member and graduate from Central Michigan University for chemistry and emotional disturbed education.
He also owns McDonald’s franchises in Greencastle and Cloverdale.
