County Jail

Fifteen people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.

Monday

• At 6:52 a.m. James K. Reeves, 31, Indianapolis, was taken into custody on a local warrant.

• At 4:21 a.m. Darryl R. Eastridge, 40, Martinsville, was housed at the jail on a warrant for driving with a suspended license.

Sunday

• At 12:35 p.m. Tabitha Jo Blake, 38, Greencastle, was booked in for battery, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

Saturday

• At 11:22 p.m. Mathew J. Counsil, 19, Veedersburg, was lodged at the jail on an out-of-county warrant.

• At 4:15 a.m. Clayton D. Carroll, 32, Louisville, Ky., was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Friday

• At 11:24 p.m. David B. Albietz, 38, Indianapolis, was housed at the jail on a warrant for driving with a suspended license.

• At 8:42 p.m. Christopher A. Earls, 42, Greencastle, was booked in for possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe and driving with a Schedule I or II controlled substance in the body.

• At 1:48 a.m. Robert W. Mills, 52, Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail for theft.

• At 12:10 a.m. Frank A. Roche, 31, Cloverdale, was taken into custody for possession of methamphetamine.

Thursday

• At 11:08 p.m. Brenda S. Long, 63, Cloverdale, was housed at the jail for receiving stolen property.

•At 5:40 p.m. Ashlee N. Skinner, 40, Spencer, was booked in on a warrant for theft.

• At 4:44 p.m. Christopher L. Reedy, 46, Paris, Ill., was lodged at the jail on a warrant.

• At 3:20 p.m. Belissa R. O’Conner, 37, Greencastle, was taken into custody for probation violation.

• At 1:17 p.m. Patrick C. Stewart, 32, Lakeland, Fla., was housed at the jail on a warrant for theft.

•At 5:12 a.m. Gabrielle E. Sappington, 24, Terre Haute, was booked on a warrant for driving with a suspended license with a prior conviction.

City Police

One recent arrest was reported by Greencastle City Police.

•At 7:33 p.m. Saturday, Larry Watters III, 36, Martinsville, was arrested by Officer Angela Taylor.

Stopped on Avenue D, Watters was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. He registered a .166 percent blood-alcohol content.

Lodged in the Putnam County Jail, Watters was charged with carrying a handgun without a license and driving with a suspended license with a prior offense.

Watters was also issued a citation for disregarding a traffic signal.

Three citations were issued recently by Officer Luke Brown.

•At 8:55 p.m. Friday, Edward Sanders, 28, Greencastle, was stopped on Indianapolis Road at Franklin Street.

Sanders was cited for having no valid license, driving left of center and having an expired license plate (October 2020).
