National Recovery Month

Thursday, September 2, 2021
To recognize the impact of substance abuse within the community and celebrate those in recovery, Mayor Bill Dory (center), flanked by Erin Flick and Amy Mace of Cummins Behavioral Health, signs a proclamation declaring September as National Recovery Month Thursday afternoon. Others in attendance are (from left) Putnam County Recovery Coalition Founder Sheila Holloway, Mental Health America of Putnam County Executive Director Karen Martoglio, Cummins Behavioral Health representatives Anna Harmless, Trish Lewellen, Alison Dobbs and Rebecca Roy, substance use counselor Megan Daciola, Cummins representatives Sarah Rohder and Katie Richards, child addiction specialist Lorie Mitchell and social worker Kendra Solana. With this year’s theme being “Recovery is for Everyone: Every Person, Every Family, Every Community,” the proclamation emphasizes that people in recovery and those who support them are not alone in the process.
