Police seeking suspect in Bainbridge robbery

BAINBRIDGE — Police are currently seeking a suspect in the robbery of a Bainbridge bank.

At approximately 11:45 a.m. Wednesday, police were dispatched to Tri-County Bank & Trust, 203 E. Pat Rady Way (U.S. 36), regarding a robbery that had just taken place.

The suspect was reported to be a Black male wearing a black hoodie, dark-colored pants, black shoes and a red University of Louisville Shirt.

He left the bank traveling west on foot, then traveling across U.S. 36 to the south.

No one was injured in the incident.

Putnam County Sheriff’s Office detectives and the Bainbridge Police Department are investigating the case with the assistance of an Indiana State Police crime scene investigations unit. The FBI was also notified.
