Extension to host Grass to Garden

Thursday, October 7, 2021

From improving access to fruits and vegetables to educating people how food is grown, community gardens offer many benefits to the city or town you call home.

With this in mind, anyone interested is invited to start a community garden with Purdue Extension.

Learn about the different types of community gardens and how to start a community garden from the ground up during the upcoming Grass to Garden program. This program is a four-part series that will take place from 6-9 p.m. on Oct. 27 and Nov. 3, 10 and 17.

This virtual program costs $50 and registration can be completed by calling the Purdue Extension Putnam County office at 653-8411. Registration ends Oct. 15.
