Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week

Wednesday, November 17, 2021
Acknowledging the presence of food insecurity, hunger and homelessness, Beyond Homeless Executive Director Lea Durbin and Board President Joel Everson join Mayor Bill Dory (center) Tuesday afternoon as he signs a proclamation declaring the week of Nov. 15-23 as National Hunger and Homelessness Week in Greencastle. The proclamation notes that Beyond Homeless has provided shelter for 838 women and children, and charges the community to support programs which provide hunger relief, housing and social services.
