Breakfast with Santa set Dec. 11 at Youth Ranch

BRAZIL — Putnam County Sheriff Scott Stockton is inviting area K-6 students to a free breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 11 at the Indiana Sheriffs’ Youth Ranch (ISYR).

The breakfast will be hosted at the Sheriffs’ Lodge and Conference Center located on the ranch property, 5325 N. State Rd. 59, from 9 a.m.-noon.

The menu will include pancakes, cereal, turkey sausage links, juices and milk.

The holiday event is sponsored by the ISYR Chaplain’s Fund. Tax-deductible donations to the fund provide clothing, toiletries and food for young visitors to the 62-acre not-for-profit training retreat for future law enforcement officers, at-risk kids, young witnesses and victims of crime.

Stockton encouraged parents and grandparents to make certain kids bring an appetite and a smartphone or camera for selfies with Santa.

No reservations are needed. All parking is free and handicapped spots are available.
