Emergency Food Pantry to open on third Thursday

To better serve those in need in Putnam County, the Putnam County Emergency Food Pantry will be be open from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16.

Opening on the third Thursday evening is designed for those who cannot make it during the pantry’s regular hours Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Those wishing to pick up food will need to bring an ID with their Putnam County address, as well as provide the names and birth dates of all those living at that address. The pantry is located at 309 E. Franklin St., Greencastle.
