Bear Threads

Tuesday, January 25, 2022
Having outgrown its downtown storefront, Bear Threads Boutique cut the ribbon on its new location, 819 E. Franklin St., in 2021. Owner Kristin Tippin cut the ribbon on the new location with the support of Beth Evans (left) and Brian Cox of the Putnam County Chamber as well as fiance Landon Kaelber and children Quinn and Calvin. Bear Threads Boutique is a locally-owned clothing boutique that brings in pieces for women of all sizes plus accessories and a selection of children’s clothing. The shop is now offering toys from Max’s Toy Shoppe. “We opened our doors in 2018 at our downtown location and have been blessed to be able to move into a bigger space this past year at 819 E. Franklin Street,” Tippin said. “We are looking forward to celebrating our four-year anniversary on March 5.” Bear Threads is currently open six days a week — Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday from noon-4 p.m. Learn more by visting www.bearthreadsboutique.com or calling 765-246-1737.
