Janice C. Clearwater

Janice C. Clearwater, age 81, of Stilesville, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022 in the Life’s Journey of Avon Hospice Facility.

She was born June 30, 1940 in Mooresville.

She married Eddie Clearwater and he preceded her in death.

Janice drove a school bus from 1976 until retirement in 2004. She loved gardening, crocheting and quilting. But most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include three kids, Kellie Peterson and husband Eric of Clayton, Kathy Selch of Stilesville and Alan Clearwater and wife Dawna of Stilesville; grandchildren, Kelsie Selch of Colorado Springs, Colo., Brianna Selch, of Avon, Ericka Peterson of North Carolina and Rich Peterson and wife Kelly of North Carolina; three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Jace and Emilia Peterson; and brothers Paul Kays of Huachuca City, Ariz., and Joe Kays of Indianapolis.

Her parents, husband,and sisters Iva Mae Barnum and Wilma Jean Parks preceded her.

Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville, with Reverend Shelly Zook officiating. Burial will follow in the Stilesville Cemetery.
