The Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) is accepting applications for an educational director for Summer 2022.

SEP’s mission is to provide educational, social, cultural and recreational opportunities for approximately 45 at-risk elementary age school children in a five-week, non-denominational day camp sponsored by St. Andrew’s Episcopal and Gobin United Methodist churches.

The educational director is responsible for designing and implementing a written curriculum that will fulfill SEP’s mission in a positive and enjoyable environment. This is a salaried position without benefits and includes preparation time for program planning, student and staff recruitment, and supervising a five-week program.

Qualifications include a BA/BS or equivalent degree, experience working with elementary-age school children, strong written and verbal communication skills, experience managing a budget, and ability to coordinate with a number of agencies and volunteers to implement program activities.

Applications are currently being accepted and will continue until the position is filled. If interested, persons should send a cover letter and a current résumé to John Schlotterbeck, SEP board chairman, at jschlot@depauw.edu.
