Ronald Paul Livesay, 85, of Greencastle, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2022.

Born June 7, 1936 in Tuscola, Ill., he was the son of William Roy and Mabel (Rodgers) Livesay. He attended Bainbridge High School and graduated from Greencastle High School in 1954.

Paul retired from IBM and focused on his passion, which was farming and being with his family and friends. He was also known for his bricklaying and took a lot of pride in the home he built.

He was a member of New Life Baptist Church and previously a member of Brick Chapel United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Nancy Jane (Rowings) Livesay, his parents and a sister, Pat Newgent.

Paul is survived by his children, Lynlee Chris (Rodney) Sharp, Laren Cole (Deanna) Livesay, Jana Jaye (Fred) Lockwood, Scott Paul Livesay and LeeAnn (Michael) McCall; sisters Nancy Clodfelter and Alice (John) Ray; brother Bud (Cecilla) Livesay; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 19 at the Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home.

Private family services will be held.
