Wesley Steven Custis

Wesley Steven Custis, 77, of Solsberry, passed away Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.

Born Sept. 15, 1944 the son of Wesley Steven Custis Jr. and Louise (Grantham) Custis.

Steve was retired from Lonestar Cement as a salesman. He attended the Solsberry United Methodist Church and had served his country in the National Guard.

Surviving relatives include his two sons, Chris (Nan Sublette) Custis and Jason Custis; one brother, Mike (Kathy) Custis; and his brother-in-law, David (Nancy) Landes.

Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Sue Custis, on May 28, 2021 and his parents.

Visitation will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Solsberry United Methodist.

Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. at the Solsberry United Methodist Church with Pastor Matt Whitacre officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Girton Cemetery in Reelsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made in Steve’s name to the IU Health Hospice House, 2810 S. Deborah Drive, Bloomington, IN 47403.
