Read Across America

Taking part in Read Across America festivities Thursday at the Putnam County Public Library, Greencastle Assistant Fire Chief Rob Frank reads “The Good Egg” by by Jory John and Pete Oswald to a group of local children. As part of Thursday’s event, sponsored by the United Way of Central Indiana, Nate Trissel also read “Be You!” by Peter Reynolds to the young readers. Families were also able to take home free copies of both books. The books will continue to be distributed at PCPL while supplies last. Both Frank and Trissel take part in the Real Men Read program, which for seven years has been providing story times and free books to every kindergarten classroom in Putnam County.
