Delta Theta Tau taking geranium orders

ROACHDALE – With spring weather coming soon, Delta Theta Tau Sorority of Roachdale is now taking orders for its annual geranium and flower sale.

There will be no public sale, but orders will be taken and no-contact deliveries will be made.

Premium hybrid zonal 4.5-inch geraniums will be $5.50 apiece in red, white, salmon, pink and violet. Premium hybrid zonal six-inch geraniums will be $8.50 apiece and also available in red, white, salmon, pink and violet.

Both begonia bedding plants (red, white, pink or mix) and impatiens bedding plants (red, white, rose, violet, salmon or mix) will also be available at $17 per flat (18 plants per flat).

There will be seven different types of 10-inch hanging baskets to choose from at $22.50 each: Geranium (various colors), calibrachoa, impatiens, petunia, dragon wing begonia, spring mix and scaevola. Twelve-inch patio pots with either geraniums (red, white, pink, violet or salmon) or gerbera daisies (various colors) will also be available at $25 each.

Flowers will be personally delivered to customers on Saturday, April 30 or afterward in time for Mother’s Day.

Orders and payment are due by April 1. Order forms can be found at Roachdale Hardware and may also be requested by email and then sent to williad1985@gmail.com.

The proceeds from the sale go toward scholarships and other community philanthropy.
