Egg hunt returns Saturday after two-year absence

Monday, April 4, 2022

The Greencastle Parks and Recreation Department would like to invite youngsters age 11 and younger to the annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday at Robe-Ann Park.

Returning this year after losing two years to Covid, the egg hunt will begin at 10 a.m. sharp. Hunts will take place in three age groups this year -- 1-4, 5-8 and 9-11 -- in designated areas around the park.

Roughly 60 prizes are available in each age group this year.

The main entrance to the park will be closed for the event. Parking will be available at the pool, skatepark and playground.

A rain date for the event has been set for April 16.
