Greencastle hosting volleyball skills camp in June

Monday, April 11, 2022

The Greencastle volleyball program will be hosting a camp this summer for any girl interested in playing volleyball that will be in grades 3-8, starting the 2022-2023 school year. The camp will be run by high school coaches Maggie Walters and Denise Meyer. The junior varsity and varsity volleyball players will also be assisting and coaching.

The price of the camp will be $60. Each camper will need to pay cash or check with checks made out to Greencastle Volleyball prior to or on the first day of camp in order to participate. The price includes volleyball skills instruction and a camp t-shirt. Campers that sign up the day of camp will not receive a t-shirt as orders will already be completed. For lunch, the campers will be escorted to the high school for free lunch in the cafeteria. Campers may also bring their own lunches.

Campers will need to wear workout shorts/pants, t-shirt and tennis shoes. Knee pads and water bottles are highly recommended. Check-in will began and run from 8-8:30 a.m. on June 6, the first day of camp. The camp will be held at Greencastle High School in the McAnally Center. Registration forms should be returned to the school the student attends by May 6.

On each day from June 6-8, the camp will due skills instructions from 8:30-10:30 a.m., hold a break for lunch between 10:30-12 p.m. and hold game simulations and scrimmages from 12-2 p.m.
