Cloverdale farmers market opening May 7

CLOVERDALE – The Cloverdale Farmers and Makers Market, located just south of First National Bank, will open for the season on Saturday, May 7.

The market will host more than 30 local vendors and be held each Saturday from 8 a.m.-noon and feature products from local farms, artisan goods and creations by artists and crafters. Events will follow current guidelines from the Indiana Department of Health.

As a promotion, children ages 3-13 will receive a token valued at $2 to spend on fruits and vegetables.

The market was developed to promote agriculture and offer consumers access to farm-fresh fruit, vegetables and agricultural products, while also providing a community place to gather and support local.

The market will run through Labor Day.
