Pack 99 to ‘scout for food’

Greencastle Cub Scout Pack 99 will be scouting for food the next two weekends.

On April 24, the Cub Scouts will be hiking around Greencastle neighborhoods leaving collection bags for nonperishable foods on porches and doorsteps.

One week later, on May 1, the same Cub Scouts will be returning to collect the bags of food that are generously given.

Residents are asked to have items in the bags back on the porch by 2 p.m. on May 1.

For anyone who does not receive a bag, Pack 99 will accept donated nonperishables at the Greencastle City Hall on May 1 from 2-4 p.m.

These food items will be distributed to several Greencastle food pantries.
