Huffman challenges for District 1 County Council seat

Wayne Huffman

My name is Wayne Huffman, and I am seeking the Republican nomination for County Council District 1.

I was born and raised in Bainbridge. I graduated from North Putnam High School in 1981.

After high school, I managed fast food restaurants, I worked at Greencastle Manufacturing and recently retired from Nucor Steel after 33 years of service.

My wife Donna and I have been married for 39 years. We have three children and 10 grandchildren.

We are members of the Brick Chapel United Methodist Church.

I was a Cubmaster in Bainbridge for five years, helped my wife, Donna, with Girl Scouts, chaperoned many school field trips and post-proms and helped with youth sports.

If elected, I will work with the rest of the Council and the Commissioners to ensure that our resources are used to build a stronger Putnam County.
